Villa Il Seccatoio is a cozy stone house and lies in wonderful panoramic hilly position (550 mt on the sea level). The villa was once a drying room for chestnuts and today thanks to the careful restoration works, guests will enjoy the charm of this typical Tuscan farmhouse, with its wooden beams and terracotta floors.
The Villa is tucked in the heart of Cortona high hills and it's ideal for those looking for peace, silence and relaxation. Villa Il Seccatoio is about 80mq and develops in two floors. Ground floor and 1st floor are linked by a wooden inside staircase. The villa can host up to 6 persons. The house is composed by 3 sleeping rooms (one with double bed) 2 bathrooms and full-equipped kitchen with fireplace.
The outside is various: terrace with shattered loggia, barbeque with equipped area for meals “ein plein air” and the well-kept garden with swimming pool (for exclusive use of the guests), sun-umbrellas, lying chairs and gazebo.
The villa lies in hilly position and is located at the border between Tuscany and Umbria, just 18km from Cortona, beautiful Etruscan town. The closest hamlet, Vaglie, is at about 2km. Here you will find market, bar and restaurant.
Thanks to the uncontaminated nature and the charm of places rich of history old mills and forester houses come back to life. Now they become pleasant holiday homes which dispose of every comfort and maintain simplicity and pride, coming from the past. History follows its stream, peace and colors of the these old-age woods are unchanged.
