Additional info

A magnificent guest house situated in a green oasis among palm and olive trees, a few kilometres from the sea. The sun, sea and land offer vivid colours in this region of Sicily where history meets the beauty of Mediterranean nature.

The estate, which produces excellent olive oil, consists of an old farmhouse with 12 rooms and suites offering comfort and tranquillity and an old railway station converted into an independent house. The whole has been tastefully renovated in accordance with local traditions.

The estate has a pleasant restaurant and a small swimming pool for guests who wish to cool off.

The estate is ideally situated for access to the beaches of southern Sicily (7 km) or those of Scala dei Turchi and for visiting Agrigento (30 km), the Valley of the Temples, Modica (110 km), Ragusa (134 km),...

"Home-made" is the trademark of the traditional breakfast. From fresh and local ingredients, using some particular fruits picked in the garden, the estate prepares unique cakes, biscuits, marmalades and jams. Adding fresh bread, ricotta cheese, fresh fruit, fruit juices, tea and coffee gives guests the best start to the day.

At lunch, a light buffet is offered with salads, cheeses, vegetables and generally simple Sicilian recipes.

At dinner, a fixed menu of four courses is offered, which changes daily. Starting with fresh bread, made exclusively from ancient Sicilian wheat varieties, you will be guided through an itinerary whose aim is to discover the ancient taste of the Sicilian tradition reinterpreted in a modern way, handling the ingredients with new cooking techniques.

The estate is open to any recommendation due to a particular dietary choice.

The wine selection allows you to taste the whole range of Sicilian wines.

The estate offers daily cooking classes in the main kitchen. It starts at 11:00 am, ends at 1:30 pm and is followed by a lunch of what you have cooked. It is hoped that guests will actively participate in the creation of the menu, and choose from traditional Sicilian recipes. Vegetables are picked from the garden and other ingredients are found locally, such as the delicious Ricotta cheese, fresh fish caught in the bay of Licata and of course with the delicious award winning extra virgin olive oil and locally harvested almonds.

You will leave with unique memories and new recipes that represent our ancient culinary tradition.
